Bomb attack on school in Bihar (X/@yadavtejashwi)
A stunning video of a school being bombed in Bihar has turned viral, triggering shock waves in the state. The video shows a bunch of miscreants throwing bombs at the entrance of the school, covering the entire place in thick smoke. Even after the blasts, the attackers keep going about their attack with great courage, drawing very serious questions about law and order in the area.
The incident occurred at Delhi Public School in Hajipur, Vaishali district, according to media reports. After the attack, the school management immediately filed a complaint with the local police. The bombing is suspected to have been an act of revenge after the school administration fired a driver from his job a few days ago. The authorities suspect the attack could be related to the firing, although investigations are still ongoing.

Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition, posted the horrifying video on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, taking a snipe at the Nitish Kumar government. In his blog, Yadav sarcastically wrote, "After criminals bombed a private school in Hajipur, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary, and Vijay Sinha have thanked the criminals and asked the public – 'Did such incidents happen before?'" His observation highlights the escalating political heat over the state's worsening law and order situation.
The police authorities have moved quickly, initiating an investigation to catch the offenders. The police are examining CCTV footage to procure vital evidence and trace the assailants. A case has been filed, and the authorities are leaving no stone unturned in pursuing the perpetrators.
This brazen assault has evoked universal indignation, with citizens and political figures calling for tighter controls to stem spreading crime in the state. The attack has again raised the imperative of strengthening security in and around schools to safeguard teachers and pupils.
